Carly Rae Jepsen Releases Remix of Current Single "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" Featuring Nicki Minaj Today

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Grammy nominated, multi-platinum pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen releases a remix of her current single "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," featuring hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj, today.
The remix of "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" (which features Minaj rapping and singing) is available at all digital partners. The original version, which Jepsen co-wrote with producer Max Martin, is the new single off the singer/songwriter's debut album Kiss, which reached the Top Ten in the U.S. and Jepsen's native Canada, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the UK. In other Jepsen-related news, the singer/songwriter will take part in Good Morning America's 2013 Summer Concert Series on June 14th. In addition, Jepsen, who was named Billboard's 2012 Rising Star, has been nominated for nine 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live from Las Vegas on ABC on May 19th. Last month Jepsen won three Juno Awards, including "Album of the Year" for Kiss. She also won the 2012 American Music Award for "Best New Artist" and was nominated for two 2013 Grammy Awards for both "Song of the Year" and "Best Pop Solo Performance."
After supporting multi-platinum pop/R&B star Justin Bieber on tour in the U.S and Europe, Jepsen has partnered with the Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony program, which invites AMERICAN IDOL® fans and music lovers to participate in the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help Carly select the best lyrics for a new song. Fans can watch live as she performs the song during the first episode of the two-night AMERICAN IDOL® Season Finale on Wednesday, May 15 (8-9 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Through Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony fans can take part in the songwriting process and influence the show they love. In addition to assisting with the creation of the song, people will have the opportunity to impact various aspects of Jepsen's Perfect Harmony AMERICAN IDOL® Finale performance as well.
