CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Carolinas Associated General Contractors (Carolinas AGC) recently presented AGC Education and Research Foundation scholarships, endowed by Carolinas AGC, to students pursuing construction careers.
The Dixon Hughes PLLC Scholarship was presented to Brittany Lusk of Clemson University, and the Stephen P. Gennett Honorary Scholarship was presented to Zachary Davis, also of Clemson. These are two of five scholarships endowed by Carolinas AGC.
Eight additional Carolinas' construction students were presented with Associated General Contractors of America Education and Research Foundation (AGCERF) scholarships:

Consulting Constructors' Council Scholarship: Robert McKinsey, Clemson University
Consulting Constructors' Council Scholarship: Todd Rapoport, Clemson University
G. Von Anderson Scholarship: Eric Fletcher, Clemson University
Hoyt G. Lowder/FMI Corporation Scholarship: Kathryn Chiarelli, Duke University
Partnering Scholarship: Adam Stewart, North Carolina State University
Specialty Contractor Council/Service Supply Council Scholarship: David McKeeman, Clemson University
Turner Construction Company Scholarship: Jillian Poston, Clemson University
Carolinas AGC's Foundation for the Carolinas Construction Industry also awarded Alexandra Jaskot, Clemson University, with the AGC Citation for Achievement Award, and Ryan David Pastor, Clemson University, with the AGC Citation for Merit Award.
