LONDON, May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The success of Carphone Warehouse and Talk Talk has made Charles Dunstone Britain's first digital billionaire. Dunstone's GBP1,000m fortune puts him top of the list of digital and online retailers in The Sunday Times Rich List 2011 this weekend.
The 23rd annual Sunday Times Rich List – the definitive guide to wealth in Britain and Ireland – is published as an extra 104-page magazine, free with the paper on Sunday.
All the 10 top digital and online retailers in the 2011 Sunday Times Rich List have enjoyed significant increases in their personal wealth since last year's Rich List was published. The success of online shopping has tripled the fortunes of fashion retailers Johnnie Boden, now worth GBP310m, and Nick Robertson, founder of Asos, who now has a GBP177m fortune.
The Jersey-based entertainment mail-order business Play.com, which specialises in Vat-free DVDs and CDs, has produced fortunes of GBP160m a piece for owners Richard Goulding and Simon Perree.

The list of Online Gambling millionaires is headed by father and daughter, Peter and Denise Coates, owners of Bet365, who share a GBP750m fortune. Peter Coates is chairman of Stoke City Football Club.
Among the Young Rich in the list, aged 30 and under, Sam Barnett, 27, has amassed a GBP40m fortune with Struq, which provides retailers with personalised ads on the web.
