Casa Noble Tequila to Hold Finals of Its "Noble Places" Specialty Cocktail Competition on Nov. 9 at House of Blues Las Vegas with Carlos Santana Among the Judges
Two Top-Rated Cocktails To be Named "Supernatural Margarita" and "El Beso Margarita"
All Competitors Will Be Guests at a Live Performance by Santana Following the Awards
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casa Noble, a boutique tequila distillery with one of the finest ultra-premium spirits portfolios in the world, will host the finals of its "Noble Places" Specialty Cocktail Competition at House of Blues Las Vegas on November 9, beginning at 1:30PM. Mixologists from ten cities nationwide will create Casa Noble-inspired libations and vie for top honors from a distinguished panel of judges: musician Carlos Santana, Casa Noble CEO Jose "Pepe" Hermosillo, and HOB Las Vegas GM Andrew Economon.

To qualify for the competition, mixologists were required to concoct recipes using no more than five ingredients, including a Casa Noble Anejo, Crystal, or Reposado tequila. The two drinks rated highest by the judges will be announced by Carlos Santana at 3:50PM—they then become official Casa Noble cocktails, and will be renamed "Supernatural Margarita"—after Santana's top-selling album Supernatural—and "El Beso Margarita." Prizes include a guitar signed by Carlos Santana. Following the competition, all entrants will be guests at a live performance by Carlos Santana and the Santana Band at HOB Las Vegas.
Via its website, blog and social media, Casa Noble launched the Noble Places program earlier this year to spotlight select venues in 15 cities throughout the U.S. that feature custom Casa Noble cocktails created by outstanding craft cocktail makers. Regional panels of judges picked finalists from ten of those markets to compete on November 9: Boston, MA; Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Long Beach, CA; Miami, FL; New York, NY; San Diego, CA; and San Francisco, CA.
