Cassidy Turley Names Clark Gore as Atlanta Regional Managing Principal

ATLANTA, Nov. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that Clark Gore, one of the most-respected leaders in Atlanta commercial real estate, will join the company as Regional Managing Principal of its Atlanta office.

Mr. Gore will join Cassidy Turley from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he served as Atlanta Market Director, providing overall leadership for all aspects of JLL's regional platform. He will start at Cassidy Turley on Dec. 5.

As managing principal, Mr. Gore will serve as the effective Atlanta market CEO overseeing all operations of Cassidy Turley. His main charge will be to build and grow the Cassidy Turley brand in the Atlanta market and recruit top talent for all aspects of the office.

Cassidy Turley entered the Atlanta market Sept. 1, when the company closed on its acquisition of the property management and brokerage businesses of Carter. Bob Peterson is serving in an interim leadership position at Cassidy Turley during the transition.

Mr. Gore has more than 30 years of real estate experience. In addition to Jones Lang LaSalle, he served in leadership positions at Holder Properties, True North Real Estate Services, Inc. and COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc.

At Holder Properties, Mr. Gore oversaw marketing and leasing of all Holder-owned properties and third-party assets. During his 10 years at Holder Properties, Mr. Gore's efforts produced more than $250 million in revenue for ownership.

From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Gore served as senior vice president of COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc., where he was responsible for the Southeastern region. During his tenure at COMPASS, which merged into Jones Lang LaSalle in 1998, Mr. Gore more than tripled the regional portfolio – to 15.5 million square feet.

Before joining COMPASS, Mr. Gore worked for several top commercial real estate companies, including Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield and Mutual of New York (MONY).

Mr. Gore has represented several of the top office properties in Atlanta, including Prominence in Buckhead, Riverwood, Ravinia, Central Park, Millennium/10 Tenth Street and Georgia-Pacific Center.

He is a member and past president of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and a member of the Advisory Council of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Mr. Gore also is a past president of NAIOP's Georgia Chapter.

In addition, Mr. Gore is a recipient of NAIOP's Lifetime Achievement Award and Million Dollar Club Top Producer Awards. He also is perennially named to Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Who's Who in Commercial Real Estate" list.
