Casteel Schoenborn Names Wilson Grabill Of Counsel for Life Sciences Communications
Promotes Katherine Croft to Manager of Media Relations and Research
WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casteel Schoenborn has appointed Wilson Grabill of counsel, and promoted Katherine L. Croft to manager of media relations and research, positioning the investor relations and corporate communications firm for new growth opportunities in life sciences while enhancing its established capabilities for serving community and regional banks, manufacturers and retailers.
Grabill specializes in the unique communications needs of companies in life sciences and other highly regulated industries, drawing on a 30-year career with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, the State Department and other international organizations.

Grabill has consulted for pharmaceutical companies Pfizer, Amgen and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and managed corporate and product public relations for Illumina, a leading genetic tools and analysis biotech company. Previously, he headed worldwide corporate communications at Bristol-Myers Squibb, serving for more than 10 years at its global headquarters in New York. He began his career in communications and policy positions in government and non-governmental organizations, including nearly eight years as a career Foreign Service officer in the U.S. Department of State. Fluent in French and proficient in German, Grabill holds degrees in international relations from Yale University and George Washington University. In addition to serving of counsel to Casteel Schoenborn, he continues to head Wilson Grabill LLC, based in San Diego, Calif.
With her promotion to manager, Croft will provide IR and PR support to a variety of Casteel Schoenborn clients, with responsibilities for project management, research and investor analytics, writing, editing, media relations, social media and database management. Previously, Croft served as an investor relations analyst at the firm. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Miami University.
