Barrett De Santos has been appointed Senior Director of Sales – Domestic and International. In his new role, Mr. De Santos will be responsible for further growing Castle's global wholesale business, a high-priority, strategic growth area for the company. He will be responsible for managing Castle's travel trade sales efforts to wholesale agents for Castle Resorts & Hotels and its portfolio of 24 properties in the Hawaiian Islands, Saipan and New Zealand. Mr. De Santos has over 30 years' experience in the hospitality industry and specializes in the wholesale market. Mr. De Santos joins Castle from the Kahala Hotel & Resort, where he served as the director of sales. Prior to the Kahala, he served as director of sales for Honua Kai Resort & Spa, general manager of Outrigger Aina Nalu, senior sales manager for Outrigger Beachfront, sales and marketing manager for New Otani Kaimana Beach, director of travel industry sales for Royal Lahaina Resort, and sales manager for Halekulani.
Chloe Rapozo has been appointed as Castle's new Marketing & Web Coordinator. She will be responsible for the administration of all Castle marketing initiatives and the development of the company's creative advertising and media content. Ms. Rapozo joins Castle after earning her masters of business administration from Willamette University, where she was active in the American Marketing Association, the National Association of Women MBAs, and the International Graduate Students' Association. She brings to Castle's marketing team her knowledge and experience from her education and her previous role of marketing and communications director for an Oregon medical institution, as well as her skills as a talented graphic artist.
