CastleOak Securities Expands Municipal Sales And Trading Team With Key Senior Hires

NEW YORK, June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CastleOak Securities, L.P., a leading New York-based boutique investment banking firm, today announced the expansion of its municipal sales and trading team with the addition of James Heald, Michael Lorenz and Christine Guest.  These individuals all join as managing directors, and will focus on strengthening CastleOak's municipal distribution platform across the firm's regional U.S. offices.

James Heald joined CastleOak in Chicago as a Managing Director, focused on municipal bond sales.  Previously, Mr. Heald served as a Senior Vice President at Cabrera Capital Markets, where he focused on tax exempt institutional sales.  Before that, he held senior positions at Robert W. Baird & Co. and JPMorgan Chase & Co.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Arizona. 

Michael Lorenz joined CastleOak's Chicago office as a Managing Director, focused on municipal bond sales.  Most recently, Mr. Lorenz served as a Vice President at Cabrera Capital Markets, covering institutional sales, and has previously held senior positions at Lehman Brothers, the Public Building Commission of Chicago, Ashton Partners, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Christine Guest joined CastleOak's Cleveland office as a Managing Director, and will focus on municipal bond sales.  Previously, Mrs. Guest served as a Senior Vice President at Cabrera Capital Markets, where she was responsible for covering municipal client accounts.  Before joining Cabrera, she held senior positions at KeyBanc Capital Markets and McDonald & Company Investments.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
