• Manage other health issues – Individuals who suffer from diabetes or other health conditions are at an increased risk for developing cataracts, so managing these conditions is a key step in cataract prevention.
• Have regular eye checkups – One of the most important elements to optimal eye health are regular eye examinations. A physician can detect cataracts or other eye conditions at their earliest stages, which is important for devising an appropriate treatment plan.
