CATHEXIS Corporation Announces Rebranding, New Leadership Team

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CPS Professional Services, a management consulting company that delivers innovative enterprise performance improvement solutions and services to a host of leading federal government and industry clients, recently announced the business' rebranding to CATHEXIS.

The step elevates the company's focus on data analytics, enterprise performance platforms, training and training support, and includes a new leadership team, logo, and website. The new website URL is www.cathexiscorp.com.

Under the management of Gundrum, who acquired the company in May 2018, CATHEXIS has bolstered its customer base by securing key contract opportunities as it continues to position itself for future growth. Gundrum has invested in upgraded management tools and systems to align with efficiencies already established as part of the company's ISO 9001-2015 certification. 

Along with the company's renaming and move in this new direction, Gundrum announced to its clients, team members and strategic partners the promotion of two managers to Director roles. Stafford Lewis, a 10-year company veteran who most recently served as the company's FAA portfolio manager, and Pam Piester, who joined the company in 2016, round out the leadership team led by Gundrum and Terry Peck, who continues to serve as the Chief Operating Officer.

CATHEXIS' client base includes the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Postal Service, and multiple U.S. Department of Defense customers.  In August, CATHEXIS was one of four prime award recipients for the Air Force Category Management contract.  Task orders under the award, valued at $20 million, will run through August 2023.  Competitors vying for this award were chosen for their expertise in Category Management execution and business intelligence, program implementation, data analytics, and staffing/task management. 

According to Gundrum, CATHEXIS' approach was based on data-driven decisions, internal and external benchmarking, market analysis, and gap analysis that will assist the maturation of USAF Category Management and minimize risk to the overall USAF mission.  "We are excited to help the Air Force attain its overall goal of saving $2 billion and ultimately boosting lethality within the force."
