Celebrating 20 Editions of the MONOPOLY® Game at McDonald's®

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The MONOPOLY^® Game at McDonald's^® is back for the 20^th edition in nearly 14,000 U.S. restaurants, bringing the Philadelphia region residents one-in-four odds of winning*, multiple ways to play and over $300 million in cash and prizes that are better than ever. The excitement is now in restaurants and will continue in-stores until October 22 and online until November 3, 2012.

The 2012 MONOPOLY Game Pieces can be found on menu favorites including some of Philadelphia's favorites; the Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, Fruit & Maple Oatmeal, and Egg McMuffin among many others. Plus cash prizes ranging from $50 to $1 million, tasty McDonald's menu items, Redbox movie rentals, the new MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRE game from Hasbro, luxury Caribbean vacations, and more are all up for grabs.

As the MONOPOLY Game returns to McDonald's for its 20^th edition, McDonald's of the Greater Philadelphia region will be highlighting the game by celebrating the NASDAQ Opening Bell at the NASDAQ OMX PHLX trading floor in Philadelphia on October 9. Tom Wittman, President of NASDAQ OMX PHLX and Joel Dukart, a Local McDonald's Representative will deliver opening remarks. Immediately following, Ronald McDonald and MR. MONOPOLY will have the honor of ringing the opening bell at 9:30 a.m.
