Celebration Highlights Sam's Club® eValues(SM) Program

BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sam's Club, the nation's eighth largest retailer and a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT), highlights the value of its top level of membership, Sam's Club Plus, by extending an eValues trial to Advantage and Business Members March 9-13 at all club locations nationwide. eValues, an exclusive program that delivers tailored offers to consumers based on unique shopping patterns, was developed in late 2009 to personalize savings by loading relevant offers directly on Sam's Club Plus cards. During this special event, all members will receive eValues to try a benefit typically available only to members with Sam's Club Plus.

Sam's Club offers three membership types. Advantage Membership is a $40 annual fee and available to all consumers. Business Membership is a $35 annual fee and available for small business owners. Both Advantage and Business Members can upgrade to Sam's Club Plus for a $100 annual fee; Sam's Club Plus provides an array of added benefits, including eValues.

Through eValues, Sam's Club Plus members receive limited-time discounts on a variety of products and services. eValues are easy to redeem; offers are loaded on to Sam's Club Plus cards and applied to purchases automatically at checkout. On average, Sam's Club Plus members receive eight to 10 offers per month, each available 28 days for redemption. Offers can be viewed online, by accessing the Sam's Club App, or at the eValues kiosk in each club.

A number of products will have eValues savings March 9-13, just in time for spring break and the college basketball tournament. Some of the eValues all Sam's Club members** can expect are:

Current Advantage and Business members can upgrade to Sam's Club Plus online or in their local clubs to receive eValues all year. Non-members can also apply directly for Sam's Club Plus the same way.
