Coaches' Radio Shows to be Held at Celebration Pointe
GAINESVILLE, Fla., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebration Pointe, north central Florida's premier mixed-use development prominently located at I-75 and Archer Road in Gainesville, today announced that it will aggressively seek to increase consumer traffic through a comprehensive partnership program with the University of Florida Gators. The agreement includes Celebration Pointe hosting Gator Talk radio shows with UF football and basketball coaches. The campaign is being branded as: "Celebration Pointe, Where Gators come to Celebrate."
This sponsorship will put Celebration Pointe front and center with the estimated 3.5 million Gators' fans statewide and millions more nationally (Scarborough Research). Celebration Pointe's unique setting and combination of retail, restaurants and entertainment are the perfect match for Gator Nation. Scarborough Research determined that Gators' fans:
- Are 87 percent more likely than non-Gators' fans to have eaten in a sit-down restaurant 10+ times in the past 30 days
- Are 48 percent more likely than non-Gators' fans to have attended a movie 4+ times in the past 30 days
- Agree at 57 percent clip that shopping used to be more enjoyable

The programs, broadcast on 38 radio affiliates statewide, will feature the respective coaches discussing both recent games and upcoming opponents. It will be held on the stage at City Walk in the heart of Celebration Pointe.
Today's announcement follows multiple new store openings at Celebration Pointe, including Tommy Hilfiger, Nike Factory Store, Kilwins and a 10-screen, state-of-the-art Regal Cinemas RPX theater. Many more new, exciting openings will follow during 2018.
