Cengage Learning Joins Local Organizations to Prepare Students for the School Year
Employee volunteer efforts support thousands of Boston Public School students in need
BOSTON, Aug. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To support local students, more than 100 Cengage Learning employees from the company's Boston Headquarters volunteered for the City of Boston's Back to School Celebration. The Back to School Celebration, a partnership between the City of Boston, the Garden Neighborhood Charities and The Salvation Army, prepares students for the school year by providing backpacks, school supplies and support valuable to their personal development and growth.

With the goal of providing school supplies to more than 4,000 Boston Public School students, Cengage Learning employees assisted in the effort by preparing backpacks with school supplies and participating in the Back to School Celebration Day. During today's event, children and their parents will have a fun-filled day with games, family-friendly activities and experiential learning booths.
