Centris Launches CView Productivity Solution for Technical and Field Service Organizations
NEW YORK, ATLANTA, HUNTSVILLE, Ala. and SCRANTON, Pa., Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Centris Consulting, Inc has announced its recent launch of a leading edge productivity solution called CView. Said Centris President & CEO David Nape, "Many of our clients need more effective workload management processes. There are all kinds of project scheduling solutions but very few project execution and resource optimization tools. CView fills that void."
Centris is introducing the methodology to the drillers and contractors at the natural gas fields such as the Marcellus Shale. The company believes CView can get the wells online sooner and provide improved project tracking and coordination.
The solution is currently used at US Army engineering organization involved in life cycle maintenance for military equipment. The Army plans to expand CView to other organizations shortly. "The military is challenged with preserving mission capability at a lower cost structure. They have to do more with less, which is no small thing given the urgency, scope and complexity of their activities. Budget constraints are driving the need for greater efficiency and effectiveness in Logistics, Acquisitioning, Supply Chain, Systems and Engineering functions," says Nape.
"Our clients complained that when managing dynamic projects where priorities are constantly shifting, most project scheduling tools come up short. They said the enterprise project scheduling applications were cumbersome and slow and usually took one or more people just to keep the applications updated. They also said that the leading project scheduling applications do not work well when scheduling a lot of smaller projects at the same time," commented Mr. David Wallace, Director, Business Solutions. "CView addresses those issues."
A key feature of CView is it handles all activities whether on a project timeline or not. So it provides a more realistic view of actual capacity. Priorities can be updated hourly if necessary, which provides greater agility and responsiveness. One of the major benefits is overall transparency and alignment. There are level appropriate dashboards, metrics and drill down capabilities so that everyone from the individuals doing the work, supervisors, managers and senior executives has near real time access to status, performance, issues and opportunities.
CView is a middleware solution that can be deployed as part of an enterprise system or on a stand-alone basis. It is very configurable, easy to install and use. As a result, the time-to-value is short and the solution provides an outstanding ROI.
"The end result," continued Nape. "Is that it allows users to harness the full potential of the organization and get it focused on the right things at the right time. When working on multiple projects or across multiples sites, the business impact is absolutely tremendous."
