Century 21 Department Store Brings Major Designer Values To Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The renowned New York-based fashion retailer Century 21 Department Store, best known for delivering designer merchandise at up to 65% off retail, will open its doors to the public in Philadelphia on October 28, 2014. For over 50 years, the retailer has operated in the boutique off-price sector, presenting high-end merchandise in beautifully designed stores that create a luxury shopping experience.  As the anchor tenant of The Gallery, a shopping center undergoing a highly anticipated redevelopment, Century 21 Department Store is set to pave the way for more fast-fashion and designer retailers to open in the coming years.

In anticipation of opening day, Century 21 Department Store designed an opening campaign that empowered the voices of local fashion notables and bloggers.  Throughout the month of October, Century 21 Department Store and their local style blogger partners have been hosting pop-up events where they have been giving away mystery gift cards worth up to $1,000, along with swag bags of designer merchandise from the store.

On October 28, 2014 beginning at 11:00 AM ET the official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 821 Market Street in Philadelphia.
