Century Communities Triples Dallas-Fort Worth Footprint with Acquisition of HistoryMaker Homes

Acquisition of HistoryMaker Homes, Texas' longest-standing production homebuilder, significantly expands Century Communities' market presence, community count, and lot pipeline in Dallas-Fort Worth, the nation's largest new home market

(NYSE: CCS)—a top national homebuilder, industry leader in online home sales, and featured on America's Most Trustworthy Companies by Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report's Best Companies to Work For—today announced it has acquired substantially all of the assets of HMH Lifestyles, L.P., doing business as HistoryMaker Homes. Founded in 1949 in Fort Worth and headquartered in Grapevine, HistoryMaker Homes is Texas' longest-standing production homebuilder and builds exclusively in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The acquisition significantly deepens Century Communities' position in the market, tripling its community count and meaningfully expanding the Company's lot pipeline.

Century Communities' existing Dallas-Fort Worth operations will combine with HistoryMaker Homes to form a single division based in Grapevine, with HistoryMaker division leadership and team members joining Century Communities. Construction, sales, and closings will continue as scheduled, and homebuyers under contract will continue working with their local HistoryMaker Homes team.

As part of the transaction, Century Communities will also maintain an ongoing land relationship with Jabez Development, HistoryMaker's sister land development company. Jabez will complete land development on select communities for Century, and the companies expect to pursue additional land opportunities together in Dallas-Fort Worth.
