Acuña Núñez, Brand Manager and representative of César Vallejo University (UCV), participated as a speaker at the 20th International Human Rights Summit, an international gathering that brought together diplomats, youth leaders, educators, government representatives, human rights advocates, and civil society organizations from dozens of countries.
During his remarks, he emphasized that education remains one of the most powerful tools for advancing equality and noted that access to knowledge must increasingly be understood as a fundamental right in a society being reshaped by artificial intelligence and rapid digital transformation.

Under the theme "Education for Peace: A 25-Year Legacy," the gathering also commemorated the 25th anniversary of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI).
The organization is led by Dr. Mary Shuttleworth, internationally recognized for her work promoting human rights education among young people and communities around the world. Together with United for Human Rights, the organization has established the Summit as a forum that connects new generations with international leaders committed to human dignity, education, and peace.
The 2026 edition brought together representatives from 82 nations and included diplomats, educators, judges, legislators, social leaders, and representatives connected to the international Nobel Peace Prize movement.
Among the voices and organizations associated with the gathering were representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, an organization established at the initiative of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mikhail Gorbachev. The Summit also highlighted the leadership of Timor-Leste President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate José Ramos-Horta, internationally recognized for his longstanding commitment to peace, reconciliation, and human rights.
The gathering also brought together figures representing significant international legacies in peace and human rights, including Tebogo Joy Ngoma, granddaughter of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Desmond Tutu and founder of Brave Hearts for Multimedia, who continues that legacy through education, storytelling, and social transformation. Also participating was renowned humanitarian Queen Mother Dr. Delois Blakely, Community Mayor of Harlem and founder of the New Future Foundation, a longtime advocate for human rights, education, and community development, who opened the Summit's second day with a blessing.
