Chad Tyler to Lead Boys' Athletics

ATHERTON, Calif., Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sacred Heart Preparatory (SHP) has announced the appointment of Chad Tyler as Boys' Athletic Director.

Tyler, who joined the SHP athletic staff in 2023, brings a strong background in organizational leadership, operations, and student mentorship. He currently also serves as executive director of Firehawks Lacrosse, where he oversees strategic planning and program development.

"Chad is a dynamic leader whose impact on our student athletes and coaches is already clear," said SHP Assistant Principal for Athletics Jason Armstrong. "We're excited for the leadership and vision he brings to this expanded role."

Prior to SHP, Tyler held leadership positions at Bellarmine College Preparatory and spent over a decade in the U.S. Marine Corps as a naval aviator and senior advisor. He also previously worked at Apple, managing global teams.

Tyler's career reflects a commitment to student growth, character development, and community building—values that closely align with SHP's mission, said Armstrong.
