According to the World Economic Forum's Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2025 report, 54% of large organizations identified supply chain challenges as the biggest barrier to achieving cyber resilience. Although reducing software supply chain risk has become a board-level concern, ownership of this outcome is split between engineering and security teams, often resulting in gaps in visibility and accountability.
