Chan Suh, Innovator and Co-Founder of Agency.com, Joins Prophet as Senior Partner, Digital Chief

SAN FRANCISCO, June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital visionary Chan Suh, the noted innovator and co-founder of interactive powerhouse Agency.com, has joined Prophet as a Senior Partner and Chief Digital Officer. Based in Prophet's New York office, he is charged with helping Prophet set tomorrow's standards for brand-led digital transformation.

Prophet is a leading global consultancy specializing in brand and marketing strategy.

A well-known leader in the digital strategy space, Suh brings more than 20 years of experience to Prophet.  He joins from Broome Crosby Ltd., a consultancy that develops digital commerce and social innovations. There, he served as the head of the Samsung Digital Innovation Team, a center of excellence for Samsung Electronics in leading web, social and mobile advances.

From 1995 until 2009, Suh was Chairman and CEO of Agency.com, a company he co-founded. Starting with $80 and a belief in the digital future, Agency.com grew from a two-person shop to 1,800 employees in 14 offices in U.S., Europe and Asia, helping clients such as 3M, American Express, Apple, British Airways, British Telecom, Discovery Channel, Ebay, Energizer, HP, Ikea, LG, Mars, MetLife, Motorola and Nike. He led the company through its NASDAQ IPO and subsequent privatization.

Suh got his start in marketing in the publishing industry working with powerhouses like New York Magazine, Details, Life Magazine, and Time Inc.'s Vibe Magazine.  There, he learned about and embraced the idea of interactive businesses. He helped to create Pathfinder, a single destination for all of Time's magazines--an early version of today's newsstand app.

A native of Seoul, Suh attended Sarah Lawrence College.  He serves on several boards of directors, Taproot Foundation and Daniel's Music Foundation. He and his family reside in New York.
