ChanceLight™ Behavioral Health And Education Acquires In-Home Pediatric Therapy Services Company

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ChanceLight™ Behavioral Health and Education, the nation's leading provider of behavioral health and education solutions for children and young adults, today announced it has acquired Sage Care Therapy Services, which provides in-home pediatric therapy services to medically fragile patients who have special needs.

Sage is headquartered in Dallas and provides physical, occupational and speech therapies to patients age 21 and younger in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Sage employs more than 100 therapists and therapist assistants who currently provide services to more than 750 patients referred by physicians, hospitals, community partners, home health agencies and others.

ChanceLight works with more than 14,000 clients and students in 27 states. Its Behavioral Health division serves children and young adults with autism spectrum and other behavioral disorders, and pediatric developmental delays and physical challenges. The company's Education division provides alternative and special education programs for students who haven't been successful in a traditional school setting and for students who have special needs. Many clients and students receive physical, occupational and speech therapies as indicated in their medical treatment or Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
