WILMINGTON, N.C., Dec. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Charlie Graingers World Famous Hot Dogs, based out of Wilmington, NC, has begun their expansion throughout the southeast, signing franchise agreements for new restaurants in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi. During the first 10 months of franchising, Charlie Graingers has secured commitments for 126 new locations, with plans to open 40 locations in 2016.
When Louis North purchased the site of The Original Peacock Alley restaurant in 2012, it was his goal to restore the location to its former glory while remaining true to its hometown roots. He built the new restaurant with heritage in mind, fine food served with a smile in a 'Classic Americana' atmosphere. North revived the hot dog tradition but added his own staples to the menu introducing his famous beef brisket, pork bbq, and chicken salad which accompany the homemade soups and sides.
