SYDNEY, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- While traditional retail stores are experiencing a downturn in sales, Australian brand Cocksox® is enjoying record growth. Being cheeky, original and unashamedly sexy has been at the core of the company's success both in Australia and internationally, a trend set to continue with their latest release, the "Carnivore" and "Woodstock" fabric designs.
"Carnivore" is a rich, leopard-based print and "Woodstock" is a masculine, "summer of love" paisley-inspired design. Both designs are totally unique to Cocksox®. Nadiah Kanawaty, Cocksox® Creative Director, has always had a fine eye for design and detail.
"I love leopard print! My partner and I have it all through our house. I've been wanting to do leopard print Cocksox® for years but it took ages to get it just right - the color variation, the exact size and shape of the spots. Who knew leopards were so complex?"
The paisley print "Woodstock" is also a variation on the traditional style.
"A lot of people think paisley came out in the 70's but it's originally from Persia about 500 years ago. It's been evolving and changing ever since," says Nigel Christensen, Cocksox® Co-Founder. "Our 'Woodstock' paisley is more chunky, more solid than most. It almost looks tropical and the solid colors look great on the body."
Cocksox® underwear and swimwear have a big focus on sexy, with styles ranging from traditional boxers and briefs through to very revealing lingerie. The new "Carnivore" and "Woodstock" prints are the perfect compliment to the range.
"Our customers love the cheeky nature of Cocksox®; they're the ones pushing us to make it sexier and sexier!" laughs Nadiah. "They're going to love these new prints but I know in a few weeks time we'll be getting emails for more! It's a fun job."
Cocksox® is having a 20% Off Sale to coincide with the release of the new print designs on January 26, Australia Day.
