SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chegg®, the academic hub, today announced it is working with Bed Bath & Beyond, Microsoft and PayPal to bring students a unique campus experience, Chegg's first nationwide textbook buyback tour.  Through the tour, students can make instant money by selling their textbooks on campus while receiving a chance to win a private concert on their campus next fall.  In partnering with Chegg, these brands are able to reach over 20 percent of college students and provide valuable content and services to students helping them save time and money!

Chegg has integrated partners throughout the tour experience allowing students to sell their textbooks on the spot using laptops provided by Microsoft with the option to get cash instantly on their mobile device through PayPal.  For campus living, students can also enter for a chance to win Bed Bath & Beyond Gift Cards and receive a coupon to help them shop for their dorm or apartment purchases for their return to school in the fall.  In partnering with Chegg, these brands are able to provide valuable content and services to students helping them maximize their college experience.

"We're excited to work with Chegg to help thousands of students sell their textbooks," said Peter Karpas, vice president of customer engagement at PayPal.  "With PayPal, students have a faster, safer, and easier way to get money for their books on the spot and start the summer with extra cash!"

Chegg's brand partnership program allows marketers to engage with the millions of college students that exercise over $210 billion in purchasing power every year. Students are trendsetters, early adopters and key influencers and no other company knows college students like Chegg.  With services including digital promotion, on-campus activities, student discounts, and product co-marketing, Chegg is helping brands connect directly and authentically with millennials.

"We provide value to students from high school to their first job," said Chegg vice president of business development, Elizabeth Harz.  "Part of that experience is delivering useful content, services and offers from brands.  While Bed Bath & Beyond is providing coupons to help students shop for their fall semester, PayPal is delivering instant payment for their used books.  These are great services for students, and authentic ways for brands to engage with this hard to reach demographic."
