"Chengdu Tianfu Software Park" Valued at RMB 41,562 Million, Ranking 9th on Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Regional Brands

At the press conference, China Quality Certification Centre announced the evaluation results of 160 regional brands. "Chengdu Tianfu Software Park" came in 9th with a brand value of RMB 41,562 million with its unique advantageous industries, innovations and services in addition to prominent leading role, growth potential and vigilance against risks. Five lists such as Top 30 most promising regional brands, Top 10 most valuable service brands and Top 30 most valuable regional brand manufacturers were also revealed the same day. "Chengdu Tianfu Software Park" hits 2nd place on the Top 10 most valuable service brands.

China Quality Certification Centre has been entrusted with the evaluation of Chinese regional brands by the Department of Quality Administration, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China for two years in a row. The evaluation is geared to all society, featuring voluntary participation and free evaluation. The capitalization method of excess return on portfolio is adopted in the evaluation to measure a regional brand is measured in terms of growth potential and future vigilance against risks in addition to its economic index of excess return. At last, the authoritative industrial data and public opinions are introduced to draw the conclusion. At present, it is the most authoritative and influential ranking list of regional brand value. 

It is also learned that the average value of 160 regional brands evaluated in 2016, arrives at RMB 9,634 million. As a first-time participant, Chengdu Tianfu Software Park emerged from 160 regional brands from across China to claim 9th place and 2nd place of Top 100 most valuable regional brands and Top 10 most valuable service brands, respectively.

As the state-level science and technology enterprise incubator, state-level makerspace and the demonstration base of national innovative talent training, Chengdu Tianfu Software Park is situated in the south of the High-tech Zone and the core area of Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone.
