Cherrytree Presents Co-Headline Tour With Sir Sly & Wolf Gang

SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cherrytree Records artists SIR SLY and WOLF GANG have announced a co-headline tour with support from New York's SECRET SOMEONES. The "Cherrytree Presents" month-long US tour kicks off in Dallas, TX at Club Dada on August 25 and makes stops in New York City and Chicago, before closing out with a show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on September 29. Tickets go on sale Friday July 18^th at 10am local times.

SIR SLY and WOLF GANG are both scheduled to release full-length albums this Fall via Cherrytree Records.

SIR SLY is lead singer Landon Jacobs, drummer Hayden Coplen and keyboardist Jason Suwito. The band record, produce, mix and master all of their music in their recording studio. They just wrapped two successful tours supporting The 1975 & St. Lucia and appearances at Sasquatch and Firefly Festivals this summer. The title track from their GOLD EP is currently featured in a national Cadillac commercial.

WOLF GANG initially formed as a solo project by London musician Max McElligott, but has since evolved into a full-on collaborative effort between its four members. WOLF GANG'S debut album, Suego Faults, produced by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips) came out in 2011 to critical acclaim. The band have quickly cultivated a dedicated and avid fan base through three years of nearly non-stop live performances, including headline tours where the band sold out the historic Troubadour in Los Angeles, support slots with Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, The Killers and most recently Bastille.

The band is hitting the road in anticipation of their sophomore album with British music producer Flood (U2, Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey) who recently won the award for producer of the year at the Brits.

SECRET SOMEONES is the new project from NYC singer/songwriters Bess Rogers, Lelia Broussard, Hannah Winkler & drummer/multi-instrumentalist Zach Jones. Drawing inspiration from bands like Weezer, Talking Heads, and the entire Tom Petty catalog, the band is pure songwriting excellence. The band has spent the last several months on the road supporting A Great Big World, Marc Broussard and Ingrid Michaelson including an upcoming appearance at SummerStage in Central Park. SECRET SOMEONES will release their "I Won't Follow" EP on Aug 26 with a full album to come in 2015.
