The online career fair allows local job seekers and employers to interact with each other in a live, 3-D virtual environment. Job seekers can visit www.chicagotribunevirtualcareerfair.com to register for the event, upload resumes and apply to listed positions. On February 22, users will have access to the exhibit floor of Solider Field where they can virtually network with employers through chat, webcam and email.
Features of the virtual career fair include a networking lounge where attendees and exhibitors can engage in group or one-on-one networking and an employer booth where job seekers can enter exhibitors' booths to partake in group chats, view brochures and job listings. Virtual attendees also have the opportunity to sit-in on an in-depth webcast from industry experts.
