Fast casual concept to celebrate the grand opening of its tenth restaurant in Virginia on May 27, offering free chicken salad for a year

ATLANTA, May 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicken Salad Chick, the nation's only fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today the opening of its newest restaurant in Virginia, located at 4640 Casey Blvd in Williamsburg, VA. The local community is invited to celebrate this grand opening on Tuesday, May 27 where the first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year*.  

During the grand opening week, guests can expect to experience the Southern hospitality that Chicken Salad Chick is known for, as well as a community focused mindset with various specials and giveaways. These include:

• Tuesday, May 27 – FREE Chicken Salad for a Year to the first 100 Guests – The first guest in line at 10am will receive one FREE large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year. The next 99 guests in line will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month for a year.*
• Wednesday, May 28 – The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive a FREE Chicken Salad Chick Black Tumbler!**
• Thursday, May 29 – The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive a FREE Chicken Salad Chick Golf Towel & Golf Ball!**
• Friday, May 30 – The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive a FREE Chicken Salad Chick Tote Bag!**

Chicken Salad Chick of Williamsburg marks the fourth location for franchise owner, Melissa Holt. Operating under Grateful Lady LLC, Melissa and her mother also own the Hampton (2850 Kilgore Ave.) and Norfolk (1200 W 26th St.) locations, making Williamsburg their third location together. Additionally, Melissa partnered with Chris Carnes to open Chicken Salad Chick of Chesapeake (733 Eden Way N.) in late January under Carmel LLC. Following the success of these openings, Melissa was inspired to further expand her presence as a local entrepreneur. She identified Williamsburg as a unique and promising community for expansion. Driven by Chicken Salad Chick's core mission – to spread joy, enrich lives, and serve others – Melissa's passion for the brand continues to propel her forward.
