(NYSE : CHS ), announced today that Celia Rao Visconti, an industry leader with over 20 years of retail marketing experience, has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing for Chico's, effective March 14th, 2011. Rao Visconti will report directly to Cinny Murray, Brand President of Chico's and will oversee the brand's marketing strategy and initiatives.

Rao Visconti brings to Chico's her demonstrated success in brand definition, communications, customer relationship management, advertising and digital marketing initiatives. Joining Chico's from New York and Company, Inc., Rao Visconti served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and oversaw all marketing, public relations and digital marketing. Rao Visconti also held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Andrew Marc, Inc. and prior to that, marketing roles with Tommy Hilfiger USA and Giorgio Armani.
