Children's Hospital Boston Receives $25,000 Donation from GE Executive

BOSTON, May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Children's Hospital Boston received a $25,000 donation from Brian Palmer, president and CEO, Measurement & Control for GE Oil & Gas. Palmer provided the charitable gift to Children's after receiving GE's highly coveted Chairman's Award. GE Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Immelt recognized Palmer for his outstanding leadership with the award and a $25,000 donation to a charity of his choice.

Palmer chose Children's Hospital Boston as a result of lifesaving treatment received by his son who suffered from Kawasaki disease in 2008. The donation will further Children's Hospital Boston's mission to provide life-saving medical care to children of all ages from around the world.
