Chile Olive Oil Partners With Star Chef Todd English On "Truly Extra Virgin" Campaign

NEW YORK, June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chile Oliva, the Chilean Association of Growers and Producers of Olives and Olive Oil, has partnered with famed chef, restaurateur and author, Todd English, to promote Chile Olive Oil.  The U.S. chef will host a series of media dinners, two at the reopening of his Olives restaurants, that spotlights the unique qualities of one of Chile's fastest growing exports. Chef English will also be featured in digital content for ChileOliveOil.com and its Facebook page, featuring cooking tips and recipe videos to illustrate the theme of the campaign, "How Virgin is Your Extra Virgin?" The campaign was orchestrated by Vivaldi Fifth Season, the design and digital creative arm of Vivaldi Partners Group, a global brand strategy and marketing consulting firm.

"I only use the finest ingredients in my cooking and olive oil is used in many of my signature dishes," says Chef English. Chef English, a four-time James Beard Award winner, will feature specially created recipes using Chile Olive Oil and feature them at the media dinners and on ChileOliveOil.com. The first two dinners will be held in June at the grand re-openings of Chef English's Olives restaurants in New York and Boston; a third will be in July in Miami. At the dinners and online, he will focus on showing how using quality oil like the extra virgins from Chile can enhance the flavor of many dishes – from appetizers to entrees to desserts.
