China-based Oriental Yuhong Granted Trademark Registration Certificate in Canada
BEIJING, April 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Beijing Oriental Yuhong Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd (Oriental Yuhong; SHE 002271), a leading provider of waterproofing products from China, recently received the trademark registration certificate from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, a special operating agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, for its trademark "Yuhong". Oriental Yuhong manufactures, sells and exports tile adhesives, coatings, waterproofing mortars, waterproofing rolls and construction engineering services in Canada under the trademark.
The firms' PMH-3040 pre-laying anti-adhesive system has been successfully integrated into three large commercial projects, including Foster Martin in Canada. The system is designed to be used in underground waterproofing and moisture-proofing projects. Customers and consultants have widely recognized the ease of construction and reliability of the system.
Oriental Yuhong was awarded the trademark protection this year following an 8-year application process. The certificate affords the firm more robust legal protection for its trademark in the Canadian market. Last year, the firm's HDPE products were granted patents by both IP Australia (patent number: AU2015371876) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (patent number: US10487215).
