("China Dongxiang" or "the Company"; HKEx stock code: 3818, together with its subsidiaries the "Group") is pleased to announce that its 2009 annual report has been honorably awarded a Bronze Award in "Cover Photo/Design: Sports Equipment & Goods" and another Bronze Award in "Illustrations: Sports Equipment & Goods" in 2010 International ARC Awards 2010. The International ARC Awards are the most recommended competition in the industry and considered the equivalent of the Oscars among all annual report awards.

The main theme of China Dongxiang's annual report is the slogan of its Italian Kappa Brand -- "We are one". The design shows a blend of various colors, including the red and green colors from the flag of Italy, with splash-ink painting effects presenting active motions. By symbolizing the vitality and fashion of sports and presenting the Company's ambition to innovate, it manifests Kappa's connotation of "Sports and Fashion".

According to the financial media, the International ARC Awards are the equivalent of the Oscars among all annual report awards and it is now the largest international competition honoring excellence in annual reports. The International ARC Awards are organized by MerComm, Inc. ("MerComm"), an independent organization dedicated to defining the standards of excellence in the communications fields. The MerComm Awards programmes have achieved worldwide recognition for their integrity and fairness in their judging procedures.
