HERNDON, Va. and MARKHAM, Ontario, April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- China Telecom Americas, a wholly-owned North-American-based subsidiary of China Telecom Corporation Ltd. (NYSE: CHA), the world's largest fixed-line telecommunications and broadband services provider, has announced the formation of a subsidiary company, China Telecom Canada.  China Telecom Canada provides a full suite of data, IP and value-added services to multinational companies, organizations and international carriers requiring China domestic services and international access to China and the Asia Pacific region.
