Chiraag Shah joins Crowell & Moring's International Dispute Resolution Practice in London

LONDON, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Crowell & Moring has added leading international arbitration attorney, Chiraag Shah, as a partner in London. Shah brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients around the world on high-stakes arbitration matters to the firm's International Dispute Resolution practice, as a Chambers-ranked International Arbitration attorney and a Legal 500 Leading Partner in International Arbitration.

Shah joins Crowell from Morrison & Foerster's London office, where he served as Global Head of International Arbitration and Head of the Africa Desk. He was previously a partner at Kirkland & Ellis. Shah is recognized for his Africa experience, having worked at leading law firms in Kenya for several years before relocating to the UK.

Shah will strengthen Crowell's experience on matters spanning Africa and the Middle East with his broad experience across the region, having advised on disputes in Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait amongst others. He also regularly advises on sanctions-related disputes.
