(NYSE: CHH), one of the world's leading hotel companies, welcomed The Peery Hotel in Salt Lake City, Ut., as the newest addition to its growing portfolio of one of a kind distinctive hotels. Built in 1910, this property is a historic landmark located at 110 West Broadway, in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.

The King Parlor room at The Peery, an Ascend Hotel Collection member, has a king size Tempur-Pedic bed, a queen sized pull out sofa sleeper with a sitting area and work desk, I-Home radio with USB and I-Phone connection and gourmet individual cup coffee maker.

The Peery Hotel, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, went through extensive restoration and renovations to provide guests with a fresh way to feel a part of local history with its unique design and art throughout its walls that nod to the railroad and mining industry, an integral part of Salt Lake City's past. The hotel features two new independent specialty restaurants, The Oak Wood Fire Kitchen and Aristo's, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2016.
