LOS ANGELES, March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ChowNow, the branded online ordering and marketing platform for restaurants, announces $10 million in financing and the hire of two key executives. The round was led by Upfront Ventures, with additional participation from Steadfast Venture Capital, Daher Capital, and Karlin Ventures. ChowNow will use the funds to accelerate growth and launch new products.
ChowNow welcomes Nick Kellermeyer, a former executive at GrubHub and Arpan Jhaveri, a former senior leader at Yodle, as Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Product & Marketing, respectively. Since joining, Nick has grown the sales team from five to twenty-five sales representatives and plans to continue hiring throughout the year. ChowNow also hired Emily Neudorf, previously at Groupon, as Product and Content Marketing Manager.
