Chris Dougherty Promoted to General Manager of the SpringHill Suites Westminster in Colorado

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is proud to announce Chris Dougherty has been promoted to general manager of the SpringHill Suites in Westminster, Colorado. Previously, Dougherty was the general manager at the Residence Inn in Lakewood, Colorado.

Dougherty began his career with White Lodging in 2008 as a bench general manager and was then promoted to general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Lakewood, Colorado. During his time at the Courtyard, the property reached platinum and Dougherty and his team received the White Lodging Courtyard of the Year award.

"In addition to his property responsibilities he has led the sales effort for the cluster which coupled with his past Marriott experience will serve him well in his new position in Westminster," Regional Vice President Lucie Manley said.

Dougherty hopes to finish the year platinum at his new property as well.

"The foot print is already set for success," Dougherty said. "I just need to come in and close the year out strong and set the footprint for next year."
