SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- January 2 marked the official start of the Chris Powell 12-Week Bod-e Challenge, a wellness and weight loss contest spearheaded by Chris Powell, TV Celebrity Transformation Specialist, best-selling author and Vemma Bod-e Spokesperson. Vemma Nutrition Company will be awarding four grand prize packages and four runner-up prizes to the winning contestants.

Each grand prize package for the Individual Women's, Individual Men's and Couple's categories includes a $5,000 cruise vacation, makeover retreat, shopping spree with a personal stylist, plus $1,000 in cash. Runner-up prizes for the same categories include makeover retreats, photo shoots, cash prizes and shopping sprees. The Team category prizes include Apple iPads and cash prizes.

The challenge runs through March 25, 2013. Chris and Heidi Powell will judge challenge participants in four different categories (Individual Women's, Individual Men's, Couples and Teams) and will determine the winners. Chris and Heidi Powell are expected to present the awards with Vemma Founder and CEO BK Boreyko, in front of a live audience of 5,000.
