Christian Siriano And Payless Team To Bring Shoppers More Immediate Access To Affordable Runway-To-Reality Style

NEW YORK, Feb. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christian Siriano and Payless ShoeSource have teamed up in a bold move to bring immediate shopper access to affordable runway fashion with the Feb. 18 availability of the LeToile, a direct-from-the-runway style featured in Siriano's show, offered at thousands of Payless stores nationwide and Payless.com for just $30.

"The LeToile style is a very wearable cocktail shoe with is black patent sling-back design that transcends the seasons and so it fit nicely in my fall collection unveiling and will be featured  in my show tomorrow," said Siriano.  "Fashion Week is always about the coming season -- fashion available five months out -- but I wanted to bring shoppers a direct-from-the-runway look that is available ASAP and at a great price."

Beginning February 18, shoppers can purchase the style online at Payless.com or use the "find this style at a store near you" feature to locate the style in the right size at a local store.

Siriano's Fall '13 collection is inspired by the golden age of the Russian Opera in the 1880s.

"An evening at the opera was on my mind when I was designing, and I imagined what these women attending would wear and how they might style each look together for fall. There are whispers of Russian military details too and you can really see all this come together in the shoes -- they are very regal and royal with a 1880s influence, but modern and powerful for today's sexy woman."

The LeToile is an opened-up sling-back dress pump with a platform sole featuring all-over black patent, a criss-cross detail at the toe and a playful animal print lining.   Twelve additional shoe designs will hit the runway tomorrow at Christian's show and these styles will inspire the Fall '13 Christian Siriano for Payless Gold collection available at Payless in September.
