Lurie, President of the Eagles Charitable Foundation, Sees The Fund as Opportunity to do More for Philadelphia's Children
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia (The Fund) today announced the appointment of Christina Weiss Lurie, President of the Eagles Charitable Foundation, Eagles Social Responsibility, to its Board of Directors adding another gifted and passionate children's advocate to its roster of notable Board members.
Lurie has long been committed to transforming lives, particularly the lives of children through health, athletics, and education. It is this passion to impact the lives of children that led Lurie to The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia's Board of Directors.
