Facebook Fans Submitted Videos of Appreciation for Their Moms
DALLAS, May 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Chuck E. Cheese's, the family entertainment leader and number one kid-friendly restaurant, wants to thank moms everywhere for all the hard work they do each and every day. Leading up to Mother's Day, Chuck E. Cheese's hosted a Facebook contest where parents could submit videos of their kids telling Chuck E. Cheese's why "My Mom Rules!"
"Chuck E. Cheese's knows moms don't hear what a great job they do as often as they should," said Michelle Chism, director, corporate communications, CEC Entertainment, Inc. "We wanted to facilitate an opportunity for kids to say thank you for all the little things that make mom awesome. The entries we received prove that a mom's efforts do not go unnoticed by her kids."
Prizes for the winning videos include Visa prepaid gift cards, for use at the spa of mom's choice, and a surprise floral delivery from 1-800 Flowers. Chuck E. Cheese's guest passes were awarded to the first 100 entrants. The winning videos were picked based on their creativity, emotional impact and overall quality.
The winning submissions feature kids who say their mom is awesome because of her delicious cooking, the fun outings she organizes, help with homework, constant generosity and support.
