Church's 'Dedicate' Series Now Streaming on Prime Video
Series about young adults from seven countries exploring the Salt Lake Temple has drawn millions of YouTube views
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a strong positive response to "Dedicate," The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced today that the first-of-its-kind series is now available on Prime Video.
Since the first episode premiered on October 4, 2026, the Church's YouTube channel has garnered nearly 3 million views. Watch-party screenings took place in Brazil, France, Ghana, Mexico, Japan, the Philippines and the United States as new episodes became available each week.
The series is one of several ways millions of people are anticipated to connect with and participate in the Salt Lake Temple Celebration both digitally and in person. This is a global effort that will culminate with the opening of the Salt Lake Temple to visitors from April to October 2027.
To make the episodes available to an even wider audience, the Church has released "Dedicate" on Prime Video. It still remains available to watch on the Church's YouTube channel and Church-owned platforms in 12 languages.
About the Series
"Dedicate" is a Church-produced six-part video series created as part of the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, which begins formally in April 2027. It follows seven young adults from Brazil, France, Ghana, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines and the United States as they tour the newly renovated Salt Lake Temple and share their experiences developing faith in Jesus Christ and a better understanding of worship within temples. Some are lifelong members of the Church, and others are recent converts.
During the series, these young people meet with senior Church leaders, who welcome their questions and help them explore topics of faith, purpose and spiritual growth. Throughout the series, these young adults share personal experiences as they deepen their understanding of temples and their faith in Jesus Christ.
The series was initially released in 12 languages, including the native language of each cast member. President Dallin H. Oaks and other Church leaders have invited people worldwide to participate in the temple celebration, either in person or virtually, and highlighted "Dedicate" as one way to do so.
The sixth episode will be available in April 2027, to coincide with the opening of the Salt Lake Temple to the public.
About the Salt Lake Temple Celebration
The Salt Lake Temple Celebration is a significant milestone in the temple's history and includes events and opportunities for the public and media from April 5, 2027, through October 1, 2027.
During the celebration, guests will also find opportunities to enjoy live music, exhibits and other events.
The celebration's theme is "Rejoice in Christ," which reflects the purpose of both the temple and the celebration. Activities will center on Jesus Christ and invite visitors to learn more about His teachings, His gospel and His role in God's plan for His children.
The six-month celebration is a global event for everyone, regardless of faith tradition or background. Whether guests are longtime friends of the Church, first-time visitors to Temple Square or participating virtually from other parts of the world, all are invited to experience the temple and its message of faith, hope and belonging.
