CipherCloud Acquires Cloud Security Analytics Technology

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, CipherCloud, a leader in cloud security, expands its platform through the acquisition of core technology from Anicut Systems, a privately held provider of adaptive security as a service. This acquisition complements the company's commitment to delivering a holistic cloud security platform that enables enterprise cloud adoption.

Since CipherCloud's founding four years ago, the company has focused on developing innovations that bring visibility and protection to data across all clouds in use by an enterprise. The company began by delivering security controls – namely searchable strong encryption, advanced tokenization and data loss prevention (DLP) – to solve the immediate need to secure sensitive data in the cloud.
