CipherCloud Expands Management Team with Key Executives to Lead Products and Human Resources

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CipherCloud, the leader in cloud information protection, today announced two executive appointments to propel the company to its next phase of growth.

Ajay Nigam, previously Chief Product Officer at Marble Security, is now Chief Product Officer, responsible for developing the company's product strategy and leading product management and engineering. Bonnie Helton, formerly the global head of HR for Applied Material's emerging technology businesses, will become CipherCloud's first Chief Human Resources Officer.

Most recently, Ajay Nigam was chief product officer at Marble Security where he led strategy, product management, engineering and web operations. In addition, he led the creation of a risk analytics based model for mobile security to holistically protect enterprises against mobile threats. Previously, Nigam was vice president of product management and managed services delivery for Symantec's services group responsible for a global organization where he successfully launched several new products including security intelligence services, and managed data protection services. Prior to Symantec, Nigam led product management at VeriSign, bringing to market solutions for mobile security and secure mobile payments. He was also the founding co-chair of O-Auth.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Bonnie Helton is responsible for all aspects of CipherCloud's human resources activities designed to drive business performance.  She brings more than 15 years of HR experience from her past roles at startups and Fortune 500 companies. Helton most recently served as the head of HR for Applied Material's developing environmental energy and display businesses, where she helped manage green energy ventures through explosive growth spurts and volatile markets spanning the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to Applied, Helton was the global vice president of HR at Brocade Communications where she led the transformation of HR into a value-added strategic partner within the organization and played a key role in facilitating international expansion as the company doubled in size. Her previous experience also includes head of HR for a venture-backed Internet startup company (ultimately acquired by Cisco).
