CipherMail Adds Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) Version to its Enterprise Email Encryption Product Range to Help SME Comply with the New European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
AMSTERDAM, April 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CipherMail, an enterprise email security company, announced an email encryption gateway appliance for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME). The SME version provides organizations with a feature rich email encryption and digital signing gateway at an affordable price. The SME version fills the gap between the free open source community edition and the enterprise edition.
CipherMail gateway provides an easy-to-use solution for the protection of email without requiring additional client software. The centralized policy based engine can be configured to automatically encrypt and/or digitally sign email based on regulatory compliance and business rules and help organizations to comply with the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By digitally signing all outgoing email, organizations can protect themselves against spoofing and phishing.
The gateway seamlessly integrates with existing anti-virus, anti-Spam and archiving products. For additional security, all private keys can be stored on a tamper proof hardware security module (HSM). The CipherMail gateway supports all major email encryption standards like S/MIME, OpenPGP, PDF messenger and Webmail messenger.
CipherMail email encryption gateway can be installed as a virtual appliance for VMware or Hyper-V or can be installed on Linux and Unix based systems. Installation packages are available for RedHat/CentOS and Ubuntu/Debian.
