Citadel Appoints Julie Andreeff Jensen as Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer

CHICAGO, Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Citadel today announced the appointment of Julie Andreeff Jensen as Chief Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer, effective December 5.

Julie is a proven communications leader and an expert in financial communications. She has deep experience in reputation management, change leadership and public affairs.

Julie joins Citadel from Brunswick Group LLP, a global advisory firm where she helped build and lead Brunswick's Washington, D.C. office. During her eight years at Brunswick, Julie advised CEOs and other senior executives on high profile global mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues and reputation challenges. She has specialized in leading complex campaigns and initiatives on behalf of her clients, which include both public and privately held companies. Julie was also part of the firm's global leadership, serving as the global head of marketing for the firm.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Julie helped lead several successful political and public affairs campaigns including President Obama's 2008 victory. Julie is also an attorney and practiced law and government relations in Washington, D.C. where she advised clients on regulatory and litigation matters.

Julie started her career as an aide to the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and she holds both an undergraduate and a law degree from American University in Washington, D.C.
