CITGO Petroleum and Fick & Sons Inc. Raise Funds for Local Scholarship Awards

GRAYLING, Mich., Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Fick & Sons Inc. helped 148 members of the Grayling community raise money to benefit local scholarship awards and pay tribute to the Grayling High School golf team, which recently lost a teammate and coach in a car accident.  The 7^th Annual Irv McIsaac Memorial Golf Outing, held on Aug. 24 at the Grayling Country Club, raised nearly $7,000 for the Jason Potter Memorial Fund, dedicated to the memory of the coach who lost his life.

"As members of the Grayling community, we are ready to lend a hand for any event to help those in our area," said Mike Lesko, sales manager at Fick & Sons Inc. "And this year is particularly important to the community as we not only raise money for the local scholarship program, but as we pay tribute to the Grayling High School golf team."

Each year, the Grayling community raises money for the local scholarship program to help area students achieve their goal of attending college. This year they were joined by special guest Miss Michigan, Hayley Williams, who stopped by the event to show her support and help honor the golf team.
