Friedman has worked across multiple sectors, led complex regions and multi-national teams, and specializes in brand positioning, corporate reputation and influencer engagement. Based in Citizen's New York office, Friedman will lead all aspects of client service, talent management, as well as business development, growth, and innovation for the U.S. market.

Friedman joins Citizen after more than 16 years at Ogilvy & Mather and Ogilvy PR. Most recently he served as a regional managing director, overseeing its four-office West Coast operation, including the public relations, Social@Ogilvy and content offerings. Previously, he was the managing director of Ogilvy PR's Chicago office and the Americas lead for LG-One, the multi-agency WPP team for LG Electronics. Over the course of his career, he has counseled leaders and led campaigns for many brands such as Quaker, BP, Tropicana, Wells Fargo, Deloitte, CDW, LG Electronics, Softwood Lumber Board, Cricket Wireless, and Covered California.
